Speech-Language Pathologist Position
Wilder Language and Learning (WLL) is hiring a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a private practice setting. WLL is dedicated to bridging the gap between language and literacy by providing clinical and professional development services. The SLP will provide direct and supportive services for adults and children who struggle with language and literacy skills.
-MA in communication sciences.
-3-5 years of experience working with children and/or adults in a clinical setting.
-Experience following and creating clinical treatment plans.
-Excellent clinical observation skills for evaluating language, cognitive, and social emotional skills.
-Excellent writing skills.
-Superior interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work independently.
-Superior self-monitoring skills.
-Flexible at work.
-Responsible, punctual, thorough.
-Create and deliver therapy activities to pediatric and adult population.
-Record clinical data and clinical observations.
-Report clinical information to primary SLP.
-Provide a warm, welcoming, effective therapeutic environment for clients and their families.
-Upkeep Office within clinic expectations.
-Professionally welcome and interact with clients.
-Remain current in the field by reading articles, attending conferences, regularly participating in clinical meetings.
